Put the tool on your own site

A tool is more useful when it's already on the page where someone needs it. A visitor reading about a place might want its local time. Someone looking at a list of countries might need to check a country code.

The tools on ParseAPI can be embedded in another site. Open a tool and choose "Put this tool on your site" to see a preview. You can set the theme and accent color, and some tools have settings for the values they start with.

The publisher signs in and registers the website, then copies the generated embed code into a page that allows iframes and scripts. Visitors use the tool on that page without creating a ParseAPI account. API lookups use the publisher team's allowance.

The embedded version uses the same tool as the page here. It leaves out the surrounding site navigation, so someone can do the lookup without landing in a second website inside the first one.

For a custom interface, the API gives you control over how the result is displayed. The embed is useful when the existing tool already does the job. You can start with the country-code tool and preview how it would look on your page before copying anything.
