ParseAPI is built on official and open data. Some of it carries licenses that ask for credit, and some of it just deserves it. This page is both.
Administrative boundary and timezone boundary lookups include data from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Boundary data reaches us through the Overture Maps Foundation divisions dataset (ODbL).
Land elevation is produced using Copernicus WorldDEM-30, © DLR e.V. 2010-2014 and © Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, provided under the Copernicus data license.
Postal, holiday, currency, and the rest of the reference catalog come from official national sources: postal operators, central banks, government open data portals. Where a source asks for credit, it appears here. Questions about a specific dataset are welcome at hello@parseapi.com.
