QUESTIONS
- Where does the reading come from?
- A nearby weather station, named on the answer with its distance from you and observation time. These are station conditions, which can differ from conditions at your exact location.
- Why is there sometimes no condition text?
- Many automated stations report numbers but no weather description, especially at night. The temperature is real, and the missing text stays honestly missing.
- Which countries are covered?
- Coverage includes the US, Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia, and other listed countries. Check the Weather API page for current coverage. If no supported station reading is available, the tool shows no result.
- Can I do this from code?
- Yes. GET /weather?lat={lat}&lon={lon} returns station conditions in supported areas, with metric and imperial units. Paid deep adds forecasts, US rain nowcasts, regional alerts, air quality, and archived daily summaries where available.
